Genesis are making a comeback 13 years after their last gig together with the band announcing a new tour! This tour is called "The Last Domino?" after the song “Domino” featured on Genesis’ 1986 hit album “Invisible Touch”. Although the title might imply that these are the last shows, the question mark provides an option should they decide to do additional performances.

The reunion tour will feature members of Genesis’ best-known lineup, with Lead vocalist / percussionist Phil Collins, keyboardist Tony Banks and guitarist/bassist Mike Rutherford. Joining them will be veteran Genesis touring member Daryl Stuermer on guitar and bass and, making his Genesis debut, Nic Collins replacing his father Phil on drums.

Neither former lead vocalist Peter Gabriel nor guitarist Steve Hackett, are expected to join the rock band for the tour. The last time the band performed together was in 2007 for their 40th anniversary on the Turn it On Again Tour, which sold out to large audiences in Europe and North America.

Genesis have announced a series of rescheduled tour dates along with a new video from their rehearsals.

Phil Collins, Mike Rutherford, and Tony Banks were due to hit the road this April to play a long awaited reunion alongside longtime live guitarist and bassist Daryl Stuermer and Collins’ son Nic on drums.

However, those original dates for ‘The Last Domino’ tour have now been postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

January 22 the group announced the rescheduled dates, writing: “We’re ready, but the world isn’t… yet!” Genesis are rescheduling their April UK and Irish tour dates for autumn 2021 in light of the ongoing pandemic.

“‘The Last Domino?’ Tour 2021 will now start in Dublin on 15th September.”

Legendary British rock band GENESIS has announced its highly anticipated return to North America for the first time in 14 years with “The Last Domino?” tour dates that will have Tony Banks, Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford, playing major cities across the U.S. and Canada in November and December 2021. Kicking off at Chicago’s United Center on November 15, 2021, the group will be joined by Nic Collins on drums, and the band’s longtime lead guitar and bass player Daryl Stuermer.

“The Last Domino?” North American Tour 2021 marks the first time GENESIS has performed stateside since 2007’s “Turn It On Again: The Tour”, which went on to be one of the biggest grossing tours of that year playing sold-out arenas and stadiums around the world.
